If you are looking for an alternative to the traditional guestbook for your wedding, why not put up a clothesline and set out cardstock and clothespins for a “story line”? Set out some pens, clothespins and cardstock, and hang some twine or cording between two trees or poles, and encourage guests to write down their favorite memory of you and hang it on the line. This will encourage guest interaction, teach people something they might not have known about you, and you’ll also have a great stack of stories to cherish forever!
